The Shadows of Rose horror horror add-on Resident Evil: Village completes the saga of the Winters family.
Game director Kento Kinoshita told about this in an interview with IGN Japan at the Tokyo Game Show 2022.
This means that in the next part of the franchise, new faces are likely to appear or old characters will return.
As for the future parts of Resident Evil, the producer of Masachik Kavata only noted that now they can't share any plans. Attention, below are the spoilers for Resident Evil: Village.
The Winters family debuted at Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and consists of Ethan Winters, the protagonist of the latter two parts, as well as his wife Mia and their daughter Rosa.
In the post-literary scene of Resident Evil: Village, it was shown that Rosa, as a teenager, works with Chris Redfield, and hinted that Ethan might still be alive.
It is likely that the upcoming DLC will provide answers to all outstanding questions. Shadows of Rose will be released on October 28.
The supplement will be paid. It will last about four hours.
