Fans of cooperative games from Hazelight Studios can get news about the studio's next project in the near future.
On the eve of the release of the Switch version of It Takes Two, Fares gave an interview to the VGC portal, during which he touched on his next game a little and confirmed that he would appear at the December ceremony of The Game Awards.
According to Fares, there is already "good progress" in the work on the project.
The developer did not go into the details of the game itself, but noted that it would be something really cool and unexpected. "We have made good progress.
We still have a lot to do, but everything is definitely going in the right direction. It's going to be pretty damn cool."
As for his presence at The Game Awards, Fares said that it would be associated with the award presentation to the winner in the nomination "Game of the Year", but hinted that the ceremony could be the first look at his new project.

The project collected the most "Game of the Year" awards and sold over 7 million copies in a year and a half.
