The creators of the mysterious horror Abandoned thanked Hideo Kojima

Independent studio Blue Box Game Studios continues to work on Abandoned for PlayStation 5.

The status of the mysterious horror was updated by the developers after a recent comment by Hideo Kojima, who publicly distanced himself from them, dispelling rumors about his involvement in the project.

Blue Box Game Studios thanked the head of Kojima Productions. According to her, these rumors weighed heavily on both the Abandoned authors themselves and the players.

"We want to thank Hideo Kojima for publicly dispelling numerous conspiracy theories. Such rumors weighed heavily on both the developers themselves and the players.

I hope that now no one has any doubts. Meanwhile, we continue to work hard on Abandoned, and we ask you to be patient," the Blue Box Game Studios statement says.

According to official information, Abandoned will be a psychological thriller from the first person with elements of survival about the fight against a certain dangerous cult.

For a year and a half since the announcement, however, the developers have never fully demonstrated the game. It has been overgrown with a lot of rumors and theories.
