In Australia, the remakes of Dead Space and The Callisto Protocol were given age ratings. Judging by them, the updated horror EA will be less rigid than the new game from its creator. The local regulator awarded Dead Space an MA (15+), while The Callisto Protocol received an R (18+) mark.

The local regulator assigned Dead Space a rating of MA (15+), while The Callisto Protocol received a mark of R (18+).

Based on the description of the ratings, the content of both games has a very strong impact in terms of mature themes, however, in terms of showing violence, The Callisto Protocol received a stricter R mark. According to the attestation commission, content of this level is intended only for adults, since it contains elements that may be offensive to certain age groups.

The regulator points out that Dead Space contains elements of science fiction and horror, as well as images of suicides, mutilated corpses and demonic enemies who are not human.

Meanwhile, in The Callisto Protocol, the player will have to fight monsters that used to be people, but for some unknown reason mutated into scary creatures.

It is also noted that battles in games are accompanied by an abundance of blood, there is a place for obscene language. Online interactivity is absent in both.

The Callisto Protocol is released on December 2, and Dead Space will be released on January 27.
