20th Century Studios has unveiled the debut trailer for the horror "Boogeyman", which is an adaptation of Stephen King's 1978 short story of the same name, based on which a 2005 feature film was previously shot.
The new adaptation of "Boogeyman" was handled by the screenwriter of "Black Swan" and "A Quiet Place", and the director was Rob Savage, known for the film "Astral. Online".
Sean Levy, Dan Levine and Dan Cohen are among the producers.
The plot of the film tells about high school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer, who mourn the recent death of their mother and experience a difficult relationship with their father, which will lead to the appearance of a supernatural being.
The film stars Chris Messina ("Sharp Objects"), Sophie Thatcher ("Hornets"), Vivien Lyra Blair ("Bird Box"), David Dastmalchian ("Suicide Squad: Mission Through"), Marine Ireland ("Y. The Last Man") and Madison Hu ("Voyager Generation").
"Boogeyman" will start scaring viewers in cinemas from June 2.
