Microsoft Corporation maintains a positive attitude for the upcoming 2023 and plans to please fans not only with fresh game releases, but also with major updates to its ecosystem, announcements of new accessories and other surprises.

Phil Spencer told about this during a conversation with the Same Brain channel.

The head of Xbox admitted that the current year turned out to be quite "quiet" for the Xbox team in terms of new products from internal studios, especially in comparison with what Sony and Nintendo offer.

However, the year 2023 promises to be loud in contrast — the premieres of the long-awaited role-playing game Starfield and the cooperative action Redfall will be the messengers of change in the first half of the reporting period.

According to Spencer, in 2023, the Xbox will begin to gain momentum.

All studios of the Microsoft gaming division are actively working on their games and will soon be ready to surprise the audience with them.

The company's task is to establish an uninterrupted flow of hits. The top manager cited the new Fable as an example and noted that it turns out "just great".

Spencer added that Microsoft is currently studying the prospects for the release of new hardware, and is also preparing to form new partnership agreements with developers around the world.

Once again commenting on the deal with Activision Blizzard, the head of Xbox expressed confidence that it would close successfully and confirmed plans to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation.

Now Spencer is playing Grounded and taking his first steps in Persona 5 Royal, which recently came out in the Xbox Game Pass. He also praised Deathloop and called bananas his favorite treat.
