Developers from Ubisoft Milan held a presentation of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and confirmed that it will be released on October 20, 2022. This is still a tactical role-playing game, but changes have been made to the combat system.

In particular, the authors decided to abandon the division of battlefields into cells — the step-by-step principle of battles has been preserved, but now players will be able to control the characters in real time when moving through the available space. The worlds to be visited by heroes have increased in size and now offer more secrets, meetings with NPCs, as well as many additional tasks.

New playable heroes include Rosalyn's rabbit, Bowser and the new original rabbit nicknamed Edge. Three composers worked on the soundtrack Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

This is Yoko Shimomura (Xenoblade, Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga), Wisps, Halo Infinite). Music for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was written by Kirkhope.

Let us recall that in the continuation of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, the heroes will go on a galactic journey to restore order and cleanse the planets of the harmful effects of the mysterious dark entity known as the Course.

She and her henchmen wreak havoc on the planets and poison life, seeking to absorb the energy of the Sparks, creatures that are something between the Rabbits and the Lumas of the Super Mario Galaxy.
