Last May, Techland announced they were working on a brand new open-world fantasy RPG. Since then, no details about the project have been added, but new concept art has appeared.
Along with posting the image, Techland shared some interesting things about the game.
The developers describe the new IP as a narrative fantasy epic with an exotic open world to explore.
The authors strive to create an addictive story-driven AAA game that combines and enhances the best aspects of gameplay that Techland is known for.
In the shown art, a certain planet or moon is visible in the sky, destroyed and shattered into pieces as a result of some kind of catastrophe.
Also in the foreground, you can see a man in tribal attire hanging from a tree, in front of which there is a view of the surrounding world with nature and majestic temples erected high on rocky pedestals.
The scene at first glance is quite similar to the historical one, but it seems that the scene of action will still not be the Earth, but some other planet.
According to last year's announcement, Techland has recruited a large number of industry veterans from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Mad Max, Deathloop, and Horizon: Zero Dawn to create the project.
