On Tuesday, Capcom Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 under the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Games received various technical improvements, including ray tracing, 4K resolution, increased frame rate, 3D audio, and on the Sony console — and support for DualSense controller features.

Similar updates reached the computer versions of all three horror films, and not all players were satisfied with them. In particular, PC gamers began to complain that patches broke their ability to pass with third-party mods and VR mods. Some have additional lighting problems.

Other users simply found themselves unprepared for the system requirements of the games to change, although Capcom did so in advance.

As a result, such buyers write that they lost the opportunity to pass Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 3 — before their not the most powerful PCs with grief launched all three games in half, and after raising the minimum requirements, it became impossible to play.

In addition, with the release of patches, all three games work in conjunction with DirextX 12, which cuts off the audience with computers on operating systems lower than Windows 10.

PC gamers write that Capcom should have left the original versions of games on Steam for users with weaker PCs, rather than replacing them with newer — more advanced ones.
