Yesterday, the multiplayer role-playing game Fallout 76 received a major new update 44 called "Once upon a Blue Moon."

The update is timed to coincide with the beginning of the 13th season of "Fly to the Stars" and, in addition to a lot of new content, has added various technical improvements and fixes to the project, most of which are noted in the official patchnout.

However, it seems that Bethesda has not revealed all the innovations — after downloading the latest update, PlayStation owners noticed that the PS5 version of the project now works at 60 FPS.

Players note that the game has become faster, smoother and more responsive, and the picture looks "cleaner and clearer" than before.

One of the first to report this was a Reddit user under the nickname Boss Zombie, according to whom, Fallout 76 really began to run on PlayStation 5 at 60 frames per second.

Following him, many other forum participants also felt the performance jumps on their PS5.

Before that, the online Fallout on consoles was limited to 30 frames per second, with the exception of the Xbox Series X|S version, which allowed to increase the frame rate to 60 FPS due to the FPS Boost system option, but in this mode the image quality suffered very much.

Now the game works by default on Sony and Microsoft's carentgen systems at a target 60 FPS with increased resolution and increased quality settings, including lighting, which is no longer at a "low" level and does not look blurry.
