Specializing in PlayStation—related leaks, Chinese insider Diandong Langke Lu Xun hinted at the imminent announcement of an expanded version of the Shin Megami Tensei V role-playing game with new content - apparently, it may come out under the name Shin Megami Tensei V Complete Edition.
An insider posted several encrypted messages on the A9VG website with photos from the Shin Megami Tensei Online Live 2021 concert: Ongaku no Kotowari.
On the first, the background is replaced by an image of a card from Shin Megami Tensei V, and on the second — the inscriptions "COMPLETE EDITION".
The pictures also show theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, which may indicate the appearance in the game of the classic character Stephen, who was absent in the original version of Shin Megami Tensei V. Given that the insider focuses primarily on PlayStation leaks, it is likely that the expanded edition of Shin Megami Tensei V will be multiplatform.
Earlier, rumors also appeared on the network that the new version of the game would immediately get into the Xbox Game Pass subscription on Microsoft consoles.
Shin Megami Tensei V was announced as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Shin Megami Tensei, was released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch in the fall of 2021 and quickly became the most successful part of the series, selling a million copies.
