Online shooter Outcasters will cease to exist with the closure of Google Stadia

The competitive multiplayer shooter Outcasters will not be available to play after the closure of Google Stadia in early 2023.

Splash Damage studio has confirmed that it has no plans to port the game exclusive to the online service to other platforms.

The team notes that Outcasters was designed and built around Stadia systems, which significantly complicates the transfer work.

The developers are confident that the "cloud" games have a bright future, and are glad to see how other platforms defend this vision.

Outcasters supports battles of up to 8 players.
