Cyberpunk 2077 CD Projekt RED will come to Gamescom 2022, but there will be no announcements

Last week, Cyberpunk 2077's Twitter account posted a message in German asking when the add-on for the game would be released.

Some users suggested that the studio thus hinted at the announcement of the story DLC in the framework of the upcoming Gamescom 2022, but, as often happens, fans overstated their expectations, and developers had to explain themselves.

PR Director of CDPR Radek Grabowski confirmed that the staff of CD Projekt RED will really visit the upcoming exhibition, but only as an audience. Cyberpunk 20777 will not display anything new there.

"The Gamescom exhibition is about to start, and I will gladly go there. Other CDPR staff are coming, so if you're in Koelnmesse, there's a chance we'll see each other.

Earlier, CD Projekt announced that a major addition for Cyberpunk 2077 will be released only in 2023, and the details on it will be shared closer to the release.
