In the demo version of the Resident Evil 4 remake, a secret mode with increased complexity was discovered, which will not be in the full game.
The mode is called Mad Chainsaw Mode and significantly complicates the passage, but to get access to it, players need to be patient or count on luck, since the activation of the "ultra-hardcore" difficulty preset occurs randomly.
If you are lucky, then after the first demo, when you select "New Game" in the main menu, you will be taken to the screen where the game will offer to turn on the "Crazy Chainsaw" mode.
As an alternative way to play hard, you can try restarting the Resident Evil 4 demo and choosing "Start a new game" until the corresponding offer appears on the screen, but the exact number of restarts required is unknown.
"After launching and exiting the demo, about 15 times I was offered the "Mad Chainsaw" mode. Of course I accepted the challenge!
", - writes one of the players. In Mad Chainsaw Mode, enemies become much stronger, and their location changes.
In addition, there are no checkpoints in the "Mad Chainsaw", so if Leon dies, the demo will end, and you will have to start the passage from the very beginning from the main menu.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is released on March 24.
