New Alone in the Dark compared to the original game of 1992

The new Alone in the Dark will offer a completely original story from the author SOMA and Amnesia: The Dark Descent Michael Hedberg, but with borrowing characters, themes and places from the original trilogy.

In particular, Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood from the first part of the series will act as protagonists, and the events will unfold again at the beginning of the 20th century and return the players to the dark manor of Derseto.

Blogger Cycu1 decided to compare the locations from the original 1992 Alone in the Dark with similar locations from the trailer and the first gameplay rebutt for modern platforms.

The restart of Alone in the Dark does not yet have a release date, but has been in development since the end of 2019 and has now reached the prealpha stage.

The project will only be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
