The demo version of the Forspoken role-playing action, which recently became available to owners of PlayStation 5 consoles, does not reflect the quality of the final product in some elements.
As creative director Rae Mitsuno explained, talking to journalists, the trial version of the game has a number of noticeable differences from the release version, especially in terms of side tasks.
The latter seemed to many who played in the demo too simple and banal. "For the demo, we did a few simple tasks, which are tied to collecting items and then fighting with the boss.
The finished game has a different structure, whereas the things mentioned above were implemented specifically for the trial version," said Rae Mitsuno.
According to the developer, the demo was built in such a way that players could immediately try out two key features of Forspoken — the system of moving around the world and the use of magic in battles with monsters.
In the full version, the audience will be consistently brought up to date and introduced to all the mechanics in more detail. More interesting quests and tasks are also expected there.
The international premiere of Forspoken will take place on January 24, 2023. The game will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC.
