Netizens have noticed that the HD subtitled Assassin's Creed: Liberation Remastered is no longer available for purchase on Valve's Steam digital store. What's more, the game's page has a notice that it won't be available after September 1st, even for those who bought it before.

Earlier this month, Ubisoft revealed that it had shut down the servers of some of its games on September 1st, including the aforementioned Assassin's Creed Liberation HD. According to the announcement, only multiplayer modes should fall under the knife. The French publisher did not talk about any consumption of access to the main game.

The original Assassin's Creed Liberation was released in 2012 on the PS Vita portable console. Two years later, an HD re-release was released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

In 2019, a remaster titled Liberation HD came out bundled with an updated Assassin's Creed III language for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
