The vampire shooter Redfall from Arkane Austin caused controversy even before its release, but the released version of the game turned out to be even worse than expected.
The project received the lowest ratings from the press among all Arkane studio games and collects a lot of negative reviews from those who played.
The current Redfall rating on Steam is in the "mostly negative" zone with 70% negative ratings.
The project is criticized for the abundance of bugs, weak AI, nondescript graphics and an empty open world. There are also questions about optimization.
Some write that the gameplay and plot of the game is just normal, but its quality and content clearly does not match the price tag of $ 70 and overall turned out to be very weak against the background of previous Arkane releases.
Redfall is available on Xbox Series X|S and PC on Steam, EGS and Microsoft Store. The game also immediately appeared in the Xbox Game Pass subscription.
