Halo: The Master Chief Collection has received an update with Steam Deck support

Developer 343 Industries has released a new update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The main feature of the update was the addition of Steam Deck support to the collection of classic Halo parts.

Although Halo: The Master Chief Collection has long been available on Steam Deck, the collection did not allow owners of a portable device to play multiplayer matches through matchmaking because of the Easy Anti-Cheat anti-Cheat system, which, as you know, has difficulties with adding Steam Deck support to games used with it.

However, with the new update, players can now access any online mode using EAC, including multiplayer matchmaking and a custom game browser.

The new update was received only by the Steam version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, no fresh updates have been released for the Microsoft Store.
