At the fourth generation presentation of the GeForce RTX lineup, NVIDIA officially announced the Portal RTX remaster.
The updated version of the popular Valve puzzle is developed by NVIDIA Lightspeed Studios using the Omniverse platform and will be available for free to each owner of the original game.
The reissue will offer updated graphics that use ray-tracing effects, as well as support for DLSS 3 scaling technology. The release will take place in November this year.
Update:Portal with RTX will be available not only on GeForce RTX, but also on any graphics card capable of running ray-tracing games via the Vulkan API.
