Another successful Japanese RPG: Triangle Strategy has sold over a million copies

Square Enix has shared the results of sales of the strategic role-playing game Triangle Strategy.

As it turned out, the project in the HD-2D visual style, released in March on the Nintendo Switch, sold more than a million copies. The developers celebrated the achievement with festive art.

The last time the publisher reported sales on March 18, when it was noted that two weeks after the launch, the game was purchased by 800 thousand fans.

Since then, the project has been released on PC, where Steam is now sold at a 40% discount.

Triangle Strategy takes place in Norzelia, where the story concerns the three kingdoms — Glenbrook, Esfrost and Hezante.

The three nations have united for mining, and Serenoa, the heir to the most influential of the noble houses in the kingdom of Glenbrook, intends to marry Frederica of Esfrost to further strengthen ties between the peoples.
