Fregile will play a big role in Death Stranding 2 Hideo Kojima promises a lot of surprises and crazy ideas

The heroine of Fregile, played by French actress Leia Seydoux, will play a very serious role in the upcoming adventure game Death Stranding 2.

As Hideo Kojima explained in his Brain Structure podcast, the girl will become one of the key figures in the entire narrative.

Commenting on the cast of the game, the developer noted that the audience is waiting for a lot of surprises related to both old characters and brand new ones.

In particular, Kojima really wants to show the characters that Elle Fanning and Shiori Kutsuna brought to life as soon as possible — the game designer promised several "crazy" ideas.

"I can't reveal much now, but Frag will have a very big role. As for El and Siori, the audience is waiting for surprises.

I really want to surprise everyone with our crazy ideas," promised Hideo Kojima.

According to popular theory, Fregile can become a full-fledged playable character in Death Stranding 2, which there are certain hints right in the game's debut trailer.

Recall that Death Stranding 2 is being created only for PlayStation 5. Its release dates are not yet called, but, according to rumors, the premiere of the game is expected in 2024.
