The game about James Bond codenamed Project 007 may not be released until March 2025. This is implicit in the recent financial report of IO Interactive.
According to the document, IOI expects to receive revenue of 450-500 million kroons ($60-67 million) based on the result of the current fiscal year ending in March 2023, but the studio predicts a decrease in these indicators over the next two years due to the absence of new releases.
Thus, this implies that IO Interactive does not plan to release any new games until at least March 31, 2025.
In addition to the Bond game, the studio is also rumored to be engaged in a large-scale project commissioned by Xbox Game Studios Publishing.
According to last year's insights from Windows Central and Eurogamer, this is a large fantasy RPG, which will include dragons, the medieval world, a third-party view, a multiplayer with dedicated servers and many years of support.
