Capcom released an update yesterday for the PC versions of Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

However, it seems that the update broke the games, because now ray tracing settings are not available in any of them.

As the DSOGaming portal notes, the patch, apparently, could be related to the recent announcement from Capcom regarding the upcoming termination of support for the DX11 versions of these horrors.

Recall that last summer, the PC versions of Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 were transferred from DX11 to DX12, receiving support for ray tracing and improved three-dimensional sound.

However, the upgrade worsened performance and turned out to be incompatible with some mods, as a result of which the players criticized the developers, and later Capcom returned the opportunity to roll back to the version with DX11.

Apparently, disabling retracing was still not part of the plans, but so far the problem remains unresolved.
