Guerrilla Games studio has released a fresh patch for Horizon: Forbidden West, which adds support for the already released Burning Shores expansion and several new accessibility options, including Thalassophobia Mode.
Thalassophobia is a strong human fear of deep bodies of water, including the sea and the ocean.
The thalassophobia assistance function should facilitate the perception of the game due to improved visibility under water, as well as an unlimited supply of air, but the developers warn that this may affect some plot points.
Other new accessibility features include increasing the size of subtitles, automatically raising the subject matter, color blindness settings, automatic camera alignment, and help with navigation in focus mode.
Update number 1. 21 is intended only for PlayStation 5 users.
