NIS America will present the release of GrimGrimoire OnceMore in April next year. In the USA, the game will be released on PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch on the 4th, and in Europe — on the 7th.
Vanillaware, familiar to players from Dragon's Crown, Odin Sphere and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, is responsible for the development.
OnceMore will be a reissue of the original GrimGrimoire, which was released on PlayStation 2 in 2007.
The plot tells about the adventures of a young girl Lillette Blanc, who is staying at the Academy of Magic.
On the fifth day of training, everyone around mysteriously dies, and the heroine herself moves back in time.
She will have to figure out the situation and solve the mystery of the educational institution for magicians in order to break out of the time loop.
The remaster will be released with English and Japanese voiceovers, and will also contain a text translation into English.
