We haven't forgotten about The Witcher 3 — CD Projekt RED is still planning to release the game on PS5 and Xbox Series

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt role-playing game will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles by the end of 2022, CD Projekt RED studio has confirmed.

The developers are not ready to name a specific date yet — we will have to wait a little longer.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released in the spring of 2015 and is still the most successful CD Projekt development.

She literally "fed" the authors for seven years and helped them invest hundreds of millions of dollars in the production and promotion of Cyberpunk 2077.

Earlier, the Polish company decided to transfer the development of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S to the internal studio CD Projekt RED, refusing further cooperation with Saber Interactive.

As of spring 2022, sales of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have exceeded 40 million copies. The game attracted about 10 million customers in the past year alone.
