Two days after the premiere of the gameplay trailer and the start of pre-orders, the system requirements of the remake of Dead Space for PC appeared in the Steam digital store.
The initial threshold of hardware required to run horror starts with the Rizen 5 2600X processor and GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, but the authors recommend having a Core i5 11600K and GeForce RTX 2070.
The oddity lies with the memory: the amount of RAM in both configurations is 16 GB (8 GB is indicated in the Epic Games Store for "minimalok"), whereas on the disk the whole game supposedly takes 6-8 GB ridiculous by modern standards.
Probably, in the latter case, an error was made and the actual size of the project will be 60-80 GB.
Dead Space Remake is being created by EA Motive studio from scratch on the Frostbite engine and will be released on January 27, 2023. Кроме ПК, игра также появится на Xbox Series X/S и PlayStation 5.
