A new trailer for the psychological horror Fort Solis has appeared online, dedicated to the announcement of a physical edition for PlayStation 5.

The boxed release of the game will be handled by Merge Games, which announced a partnership agreement with Dear Villages publishing house and Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Games studios.

As a bonus, all buyers of the physical edition will receive digital versions of the artbook and soundtrack included.

The release of the game on discs is announced for the North American market and will take place in the summer, but it is not yet specified whether this will happen simultaneously with the release in the PS Store or later.

Fort Solis is a third-person thriller set on Mars.

In the story, engineer Jack Leary responds to an alarm from an inactive Fort Solis station, but upon arrival there he becomes embroiled in rapidly out-of-control events related to the secrets of the base and the disappearance of its team.

The project will offer an immersive narrative with different outcomes of events and one large location, including more than nine separate structures, each of which contains levels on and below the surface of Mars.

Unreal Engine 5 is used as the game engine.

The central characters in the game were voiced by the star of The Last of Us, Troy Baker, as well as Roger Clark, who played Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption II, and Julia Brown, who is known for the TV series "The Last Kingdom".

Simultaneously with the PS5 horror will also be released on PC.
