As with the first game, Techland plans to support Dying Light 2 Stay Human for years to come. The Polish studio will produce both small content updates and larger story DLCs.
Some interesting details of the first of such extensions, which is to be released in September this year, have leaked into the network.
Dataminer YouTuber Bub managed to dig through the game files after the last patch and find out that the upcoming DLC will be plotted and, apparently, will resemble the movie "Gladiator".
The key location will be the Opera House, which will act as an arena for gladiatorial battles. The addition is likely to be quite large.
The enthusiast managed to find more than 2000 fragments of dialogues, two different endings, new models and animations.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. A cloud version for the Nintendo Switch console is also under development.
The zombie fighter sold 5 million copies in less than a month after the release.
Techland, along with former developers of "The Witch" and Cyberpunk 2077, is also preparing a fantasy action-RPG with the open world.
Recently, analysts estimated that the company managed to become the most expensive in Poland, ahead of CD Projekt.
