The ElAnalistaDeBits channel supplemented its previous comparison of the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo on PlayStation consoles with another comparison, but this time between the versions for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X offer two graphics modes and use the technique of temporary reconstruction, as on PlayStation 5.

The Xbox Series S version runs at 1440p at ≈40 frames per second in resolution mode and at 1080p at 60 frames per second in performance mode.

The Xbox Series X version runs at 2160p in resolution mode at ≈45 frames per second with RT and at ≈50 frames per second without RT.

In performance mode, the game runs at dynamic 2160p at ≈55 frames per second with RT and at 60 frames per second without RT.

The average resolution on the PlayStation 5 in performance mode in the tested areas is slightly higher than the Xbox Series X, but the difference is minimal - 1872p versus 1836p.

On the Xbox Series S, there is no ray tracing and the ability to enable improved rendering of the main character's hair.

Also this version contains some simplifications in textures, detail levels and shadows. The PlayStation 5 outperforms the Xbox Series X in performance by an average of 5-10 frames per second.

At the same time, in all versions, it is recommended to choose the performance mode without ray tracing, since only it provides a stable 60 frames per second.

The full release of the game will take place on March 24.
