S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is still scheduled for release in 2023

The other day, Microsoft began to refund players for the digital pre-order of S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

In the refund notice, the company cited the reason for postponing the release "to an unconfirmed date in the future".

The situation did not become surprising, as Microsoft Store policy implies a refund for pre-order games without an exact release date, but news about this provoked rumors of another release delay.

GSC Game World PR Manager Zahar Bocharov commented:"The game will be available again for pre-order on Xbox once we announce the exact release date.

December 23 is the equivalent of a stub until we are ready to publicly announce a new release date. So far, S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 is released sometime in 2023. "

S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 was originally supposed to be released on April 28. In January, GSC Game World postponed the game until December 8, and then again, shifting the release to 2023.
