Insider: Capcom is working on restarting the Dead Riding franchise

In recent years, Capcom has been raising thanks to the successes of the Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter and Monster Hunter.

Nevertheless, the company had not the most successful releases, such as the Dead Ring 4 zombie explosion, after which the Capcom Vancouver studio was closed, and the series itself disappeared from radars for a long time.

However, it seems that the company decided to give a franchise a new chance. According to the Windows Central editor Jesu Korden, the Dead Riding series is preparing to return with a new game.

The journalist does not know which platforms the project will be on, but I heard that it will be restart. There are no other details at the moment.

Recall that Dead Rising 3 and 4 released Capcom in partnership with Microsoft as console exclusives Xbox.

The third part never reached the PlayStation, and the fourth appeared only a year after the release.
