Konami has released the first major update for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, which brought several improvements and fixes to the collection of 13 retro games.

The main feature of the update was the extended online functionality.

Now TMNT 4: Turtles in Time with Super Nintendo has a full-fledged multiplayer, and TMNT 3: The Manhattan Project will get an online mode in a future update.

The patch also includes a customizable lobby size for arcade games and an automatic frame delay option that adjusts the input delay depending on the number of players.

In addition, some bugs have been fixed, other improvements have been made and support for arcade joysticks for PlayStation and Xbox consoles has been added.

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge also received a big update this week.

Dotemu and Tribute Games have added an arcade mode with custom game settings to the bitmap, an option to limit the number of players in the lobby by the host, and graphic filters with CRT monitor styling (flat or curved) and VCR recording.

In addition to new features, the patch has eliminated numerous bugs and added various changes aimed at improving the gaming experience.
