The first demonstration of Final Fantasy XVI was compared with the last one

Final Fantasy XVI looks better and better with each new show. In the new video, the authors of the video clearly showed how the graphics of the game have changed since the announcement.

The Final Fant channel compared the footage from the "Awakening" trailer, published back in September 2020, with the latest demonstration held as part of the State of Play last week.

The video highlights that over several years of production, the game has started to look much better in almost all aspects, from character models to lighting and shadows.

At the same time, despite the changes in the graphics, the artistic style of the game remained the same, which suggests that the project was created from the very beginning with a clear idea and was not redone during development.

Final Fantasy XVI will be released on June 22 exclusively on PlayStation 5. The production of the game has already been completed.
