CEO Tero Virtala has once again confirmed that Alan Wake 2 is in full production and is still scheduled for release in 2023.

According to him, the creation of the game is progressing in all directions, but there is still a lot of work ahead.

Nothing has been heard about the project since new concept art appeared in May, but even then Sam Lake said that most of the game is already in a playable state.

In addition to Alan Wake 2, the studio is engaged in two Control projects codenamed Condor and Heron. The first of them is a cooperative PvE game for four.

It is still at the concept testing stage. The second game has a higher budget, but the degree of readiness still remains at the level of the concept.

Remedy's fourth project is Vanguard's free cooperative PvE shooter for Tencent, "combining the studio's storytelling and action experience with exciting multiplayer gameplay."

Apparently, it is still a long time before the release of this game - while the concept is only being approved, there are no new details.

Finally, Virtala gave a brief update on the remake of Max Payne 1-2, which Remedy is making by order of Rockstar Games.

An updated version of the cult dilogy was announced in April and is now being developed by a "small core of the team".

The project is being done on the Northlight engine, which was used in all the latest games of the studio.
