The developers revealed four configurations of the necessary hardware at once, starting from the minimum and ending with the recommended one for playing in 4K at 60 frames per second with ray tracing enabled.

In short, the project will launch even on a 3-gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 paired with a Ryzen 3 1200 processor and 8 GB of RAM, but in this case you can only count on low graphics settings, 1080p resolution with TSR scaling technology in Balance mode and 30 FPS.

For a better picture and smooth gameplay, you will need a GPU from GTX 1070 to RTX 3080 Ti, and in all cases, the authors recommend installing the game on an SSD, preferably high-speed M format.

2. It will take, however, a little — only 20 GB.

Full system requirements:The new Layers of Fear is a collection of remakes of past games in the series on Unreal Engine 5, combining the original game, the sequel, all DLC, as well as new chapters of The Final Note, which will offer an alternative look at the plot of the first part on behalf of the artist's wife, and The Lighthouse Chapter, where a new story will be told for the writer at the lighthouse, designed to link all the plots together.

The release will take place in June on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. On Monday, May 15, a free demo version will be available on Steam.
