The staff of the international edition of IGN managed to play the psychological horror from the first person Unholy, which is expected to be released on PC and modern consoles next year.

The journalists presented 16 minutes of gameplay from the beginning of the game. The video can be found below.

Unholy takes place on a dying planet in the Last city where a woman named Seida lives.

She is looking for her missing child and trying to escape the terrible plague, attacks by maniacs, aristocrats and mysterious monsters.

The developers propose to open the doors between ordinary reality and the dark unholy world in order to reveal a certain secret.

Players will have to explore both worlds in search of clues, solve puzzles and choose: hide from cruel enemies or fight them in a confrontation with the nightmarish power.

Main Features:The gray cold reality of an inhospitable town in a post-Soviet Eastern European city and a creepy distorted unholy world in which a grotesque community is ruled by ruthless priests.

An exciting psychological horror with a deep dark plot, the ideas for which are borrowed from the works of talented artist Tomas Strzhalkovsky, founder and artistic director of Duality Games studio.

An exciting gameplay combining unique shooting technology with exploration and stealth mechanics, as well as solving complex puzzles.

A unique combat system in which it is necessary to use four emotions — anger, fear, sadness and desire — to interact with the environment, for example, to destroy obstacles, turn on mechanisms, overload the power grid, light the way or confuse enemies, lure and injure them.

Another important detail in the game are masks. In the wicked world, everyone hides behind masks, on which your life may depend.

Players are invited to create their own mask to gain skills and improve abilities, or put on someone else's to hide from enemies, confuse or portray them.
