The paid expansion of Separate Ways about Ada Wong for Resident Evil 4 Remake will not have to wait as long as the plot addition for the eighth part. This was told by an insider Dusk Golem.
According to him, while Shadow of Rose for Resident Evil Village began to be developed after the release of the main game, the updated Separate Ways mini-campaign has always been in Capcom's plans and was put into production even before the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake.
The insider claims that if the authors do not have unforeseen difficulties, then the supplement should be released before the end of this year.
Interestingly, this will not be the only new addition that awaits Resident Evil 4 players in the coming months.
According to Dusk Golem, The Mercenaries mode, released today as a free DLC, will also receive fresh content — its release is expected around the same time as Separate Ways.
In addition, Capcom previously confirmed the development of a VR version of RE4R for PlaySation VR2.
They are not talking about the release dates yet, but it is already known that all owners of the PlayStation 5 remake will receive this update for free.
