On November 16, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 was released. On the same day, Activision shut down the servers of the original "battle royale", thereby taking a short break.

Today, the competitive game was brought back into operation. However, fans are waiting for a simplified version of the first Warzone, where single and team modes remain from the standard modes.

In the updated version there are no time modes and the Plunder beloved by players. In addition, the content includes only the Caldera map — Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep are no longer available.

The updated Call of Duty: Warzone also lacks an in-game store, despite the fact that COD points can be transferred between all games in the series, including Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare II.

Earlier it was reported that Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has attracted more than 25 million players in five days since its release.
