An insider pointed to the imminent release of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty from CD Projekt RED

Another source announced the summer release of a major plot expansion Phantom Liberty for the role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077.

According to insider Tyler McVicker, the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will take place in two months — in August.

Officially, the supplement does not yet have an exact release date and is scheduled for release before the end of 2023.

McVicker specializes mainly in rumors and leaks around Valve, its games and the Steam digital store, but earlier he correctly announced the planned display of the add-on at the 2022 Game Awards ceremony.

It is possible that this time the insider is not mistaken.

At the beginning of the week, CD Projekt RED studio confirmed that a full-fledged presentation of Phantom Liberty will take place during the Summer Game Fest 2023.

First, the DLC will be shown on June 8 at the main 2-hour show with world premieres, announcements and demonstrations of the gameplay, and then it will appear "at other events".

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is being created only for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The expansion will not be released on consoles of the previous generation.
