Bandai Namco will release a free update for Tekken 7 on August 17, which will add balance adjustments and new tactics to the fighting, the company announced as part of the final day of EVO 2022.
Interestingly, at the end of the trailer with the announcement of a free update, Bandai Namco seems to have hinted at the development of Tekken 8 or a remake of the first game.
The end of the video shows a scene from the original Tekken, where Kazuya Mishima throws the defeated Heihachi from the mountain, after which a new render of Kazuya is shown and the inscription "Prepare" appears.
A full-fledged announcement can take place in December at The Game Awards. Tekken 7 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
