The Lich King returns in the fall: Blizzard has dated the release of the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King

Blizzard Entertainment decided on the release date of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic.

Fans of the classic version of the iconic MMORPG will be able to battle with the King-Lich on September 26 (September 27 at 01:00 MSK will update Russian-language servers). The addition will offer players updated raids, achievements, the exclusive class profession "Engraving" and much more.

In anticipation of the launch, Burning Crusade Classic players will receive a buff that increases the entire gained experience by 50% — it will be available until the premiere of Wrath of the Lich King Classic.

Applications for participation in beta testing can be submitted through a special form on the website. The original addition to World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was released in 2008.
