Boss Battle and Forest stages: New Sonic Superstars gameplay

The IGN Japan channel posted a 10-minute video with the gameplay of the 2D platformer Sonic Superstars, a demo of which was shown by journalists at the Summer Game Fest Play Days.

The video shows the complete passage of two forest stages for Sonic, including a boss battle.

Also, several more demonstrations of Sonic Superstars from Summer Game Fest 2023 appeared on the network, but recorded on camera.

One of them shows the gameplay for Amy Rose, and the second one shows another passage for Sonic, but on a different level. Sonic Superstars will be released this fall on all current platforms.

The events of the game will unfold in new locations of the North Star Islands, where Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy Rose will have to stop another insidious plan of Dr. Egmann, who has teamed up with an old enemy Fung and a new mysterious enemy to turn all local animals into Predators.

The project will offer a classic two-dimensional gameplay, reinterpreted using fully three-dimensional graphics, as well as new unique abilities of heroes based on the use of the forces of Chaos emeralds.

Sonic Superstars can be played alone or in a local cooperative of up to four people.
