Capcom continues to cooperate with Denuvo Software Solutions to protect its PC games from pirates at least at the start.
Following the remake of Resident Evil 4, another major release of the publisher, the fighting game Street Fighter 6, came under the protection of the popular DRM system.
It became known from the game's Steam page that Denuvo technology would be integrated into the project, where a corresponding mention appeared a few days before the release.
Despite the fact that Capcom is one of the ardent supporters of Denuvo, the company eventually removes this DRM from its games, as happened earlier with Resident Evil: Village, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, Devil May Cry 5 and Monster Hunter: World.
The release of Street Fighter 6 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X|S will take place tomorrow, June 2.
Professional critics were delighted with the fighting game and awarded it an average of 92 points out of 100.
