Elven Ring developers have released an update with balance edits and online improvements on PS4 and PS5

On October 13, From Software released patch number 1 for Elden Ring. 07, which makes balance adjustments to the game to increase gameplay stability.

According to the developers, numerous changes have been made to spells, skills and weapons. FromSoftware decided to separate PvP mode from PvE by adding a separate damage scale.

During an invasion, weapons will deal more damage, lower stamina more, and some spells will become less effective.

In addition, various bugs have been fixed and the online experience on PS4 and PS5 has been improved.

Interestingly, there was a mention of ray tracing in the game code — the function was not officially announced.

Dataminer Lance McDonald added that after the update, two new locations were mentioned in the game.
