Extreme race Jected Rivals will be released for free on Steam on May 4

The company THQ Nordic renamed the arcade race Stuntfest: World Tour to Jected: Rivals and at the same time announced the launch date of the game on PC.

According to the announcement, Jected: Rivals will launch on Steam early Access on May 4 and will be available for free download to all users of the platform.

Optionally, players will be able to purchase some downloadable content.

The project is created by the Vienna studio Pow Wow Entertainment and is described as "200% fun, consisting of 50% action, 50% racing, 50% flying and another 50% crazy stunts."

Jected: Rivals is a single-elimination tournament race with up to 18 players who will have to fight their way to the podium in various extreme competitions, including deadly derbies and spectacular stunt races.

The authors also promise a wide fleet of vehicles "for every taste", starting with powerful trucks and ending with agile SUVs.

Another unusual feature of Jected: Rivals is the ejection mechanics, which allows you to launch the driver into the sky at the touch of a button and leave the rivals far behind.

During the flight, the character can use one of three gadgets, including a jet wing, a swing hook or a rocket pack.
