Japanese Resident Evil fans voted for their favorite characters

For 27 years of existence, the Resident Evil horror franchise has given fans a large number of memorable characters - both positive and villains, and on the eve of the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake, the leading Japanese magazine Famitsu asked readers to name their favorite characters.

According to the results of the survey, the first place in the top 10 popular Resident Evil characters was taken by Leon Kennedy, who debuted in Resident Evil 2, whom all fans will be able to see in the remake of Resident Evil 4 on March 24.

The second and third places were taken by Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, respectively, together with whom the ascent of the series to the podium began in 1996.

In addition to the veterans of the Resident Evil series, there was a place in the top 10 for Pierce Nivans, who was a colleague of Chris Redfield in Resident Evil 6.
