After the announcement of Hades II at The Game Awards 2022, the game pages with the first details and screenshots opened in the Steam and Epic Games Store digital stores.

According to the developers, the sequel will improve the strengths of the original and offer a completely new experience with an emphasis on dynamic battles and endless replayability in an ever-changing world based on Greek mythology.
In the role of the immortal princess of the underworld Melinoi, players will explore an even more extensive and deep mythical universe and use dark magic, fighting the forces of the time titan Chronos with the power of all Olympus behind him.
Hades II is a direct continuation of the first Hades (our review), however, the creators note that beginners will not need knowledge of the original.
During the passage, gamers will meet dozens of voiced characters, among which there will be many new faces and old acquaintances.
The bright atmospheric environment will still be hand-painted by artists, and the three-dimensional characters will get even smoother animations.
God mode will return, and there will be no multiplayer, as in the case of the first Hades.
The studio noted that getting feedback from players at key stages of the development of the original Hades turned out to be an extremely important element of production, so in the case of the sequel, the authors are again going to release the game first in early access.
The project has been in development since the beginning of 2021 and will start in early access on PC in 2023.
At the moment, only the PC version has been confirmed, but it is expected that eventually the game will visit consoles.
