Online in Dark Souls III on PC again works - FromSoftware fixed the game after hacking

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the Dark Souls trilogy on PC had a serious security breach that allowed attackers to gain access to other people's computers due to the vulnerability of remote code execution during an invasion of other players' sessions.

Because of this, the games were not online for more than seven months, but today FromSoftware shared the good news.

The studio has fully restored the network functions of Dark Souls III on the PC and is working in the same way to resume the multiplayer in the rest of the series.

The company thanked the players for their patience and support. The developers will announce when it will be repaired online in Dark Souls: Remastered and Dark Souls II.
